Do you want to drive like an Italian? Then a classic Fiat 500 convertible is the car for you! These vintage models are still going strong and at Living in Italy we’re featuring a fantastic opportunity to purchase your very own Italian iconic car.

The original Fiat 500 – or Cinquecento as we say in Italian – was designed by Dante Giacosa and first launched in 1957, but there are no signs that its popularity is flagging. Alongside the enduringly cool Vespa two-wheeler, it remains a bona fide Italian cultural icon, appearing in movies as diverse as Pixar’s Cars 2 and the upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 (Tom Cruise was seen racing around Piazza di Spagna in a yellow Fiat 500 during recent shooting in Rome).

The Fiat 500 for sale on this page was produced in 1971 and is a 500 L or Lusso (luxury) model, which as the name suggests, was a more luxurious version of the standard 500 with upgraded finishes and trimmings. This car has been lovingly cared for, driven 76,500 km so far, and looking to put more miles on the clock with a new owner.
Asking price: €5,300.
