Many American Tourists when visiting Italy hit all the tourist traps Rome, Florence, Milan, and the like, which are magnificent. But to appreciate Italy we suggest going to a small town. You experience the food, culture, and social events as Italians do with reverence, appreciation, and zest.
We suggest visiting our small town of Termoli in theMolise Region located on the east coast of Italy on the Adriatic sea. This quiet oasis is the place Europeans come to escape the hustle and bustle of big city life. It has everything a vacationer would want or need. This small and quaint 13th century Italian sea town is famous for its Medieval Castle, Tremeti Island ferry excursionsand a magnificent 14th Century Duomo. It has fantastic shopping where tourists can stroll the pedestrian-only streets. It seems every where you turn there is a fantastic place to get pizza, gelato, and enjoy a quick espresso!
The beaches of Termoli provide relaxation and serenity, with plenty of activities, with both private and public beaches available. Termoli is also only minutes from mountain activities such as biking and hiking. During the summer period ferries can take you to the Tremeti Islands which are possibly some of the most beautiful uninhabited islands in the Mediterranean sea.
Termoli is a beautiful two-hour drive from Leonardo DaVinci – Fiumicino (FCO) airport in Rome through the Italian Alps and along the east coast of Italy. Getting there is almost as much fun as being there!
